Congratulations to Sarah Colijn for winning the “Outstanding Paper Prize of 2020” from Disease Models & Mechanisms! We are so proud of Sarah’s rigorous research into cell-specific roles for RIPK3 in atherosclerosis progression.

Presentation Award at OU Vision Workshop

Congrats to Eric, who won the Wei Cao Innovative Award at this year’s OU Vision Workshop for his oral presentation about retinal vascular regression. Eric’s image of retinal capillaries was also chosen for the cover of the abstract book.

Griffin Lab Summer Scholar

The lab is delighted to have Chase Tabor joining us from the U.S. Naval Academy this month as part of the OMRF Saxon Scholars program. Chase is working closely with Dr. Eric Ma to study blood vessel regression in the eye.

Travel award from GREAT symposium

Congrats to Rahul for winning the OMRF Award for Scientific Achievement for his oral presentation at this year’s OUHSC GREAT symposium!

AHA Postdoc Fellowship

The lab is celebrating the good news that Eric Ma was recently awarded an AHA Postdoc Fellowship for his diabetic retinopathy research. Congrats, Eric!
