Courtney was honored to receive the 2026 David A. Dichek Mid-Career Investigator Award, presented by the ATVB journal at the Vascular Discovery 2026 conference. This award was established in honor of Dr. Dichek, a senior editor of ATVB and a leader in the cardiovascular community. Courtney was privileged to know Dr. Dichek when he was a PI at the Gladstone Institutes while she was pursuing her graduate training at UCSF. She will always remember him as a kind and genuinely engaged clinician-scientist who left behind a legacy of excellence in all his professional endeavors.
